A vendor of customized team apparel for the K-12 market needed an innovative and flexible web site with state-of-the-art software technology. Their objectives were to create a unique design and purchase experience for the end consumer and to offer administrative interfaces to meet customer requirements. In addition, they wanted to use a software architecture that would be highly scalable to meet the aggressive growth plans of the organization. The objective of this engagement was to analyze, design, build, test and implement a custom e-Commerce software application portal. The portal allows schools and organizations to create a web storefront for ordering school, team or organization branded apparel. Order processing features display detailed order information including order processing instructions and tracking details. In addition, administrative capabilities are available both internally and externally. Technologies include Microsoft .NET and SQL Server. IBS' Offshore Development Center completed the 8,000-hour project on time and within budget.
