QA Analyst


QA Analysts are responsible for ensuring that a software system is reliable, fully-functional and user-friendly. The analyst makes sure that the solution meets the business objectives and that all requirements are met. Typical responsibilities and required skills include:

Responsibilities

  • Review functional and design specs to gain a full understanding of deliverables
  • Create end-to-end testing plans for performance, functionality, stability and compatibility with other systems
  • Execute the test plan, document, and communicate necessary changes to the development team
Requirements
  • 3+ years' experience in quality assurance and minimum 2 years as a QA analyst
  • Expertise in the required platform/framework/languages
  • Experience with appropriate testing tools
  • Ability to create clear and detailed test plans and cases
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with developers, project managers and customer support
  • Understanding of business processes
  • Strong documentation skills

Most required technologies/skills: HP Quality Center, Quick Test Pro, Black Box testing, SDLC, Bug life cycle
