Peggy Beirise

Peggy Beirise resides in Centerville, Ohio, where she works as a UA tester of commercial lines rating programs. She began working in commercial lines insurance when she was just 18 as a transcriptionist in the claims department.

“After many years of working in the claims department, I moved to working at an agency where I acquired my Property & Casualty Insurance License,” Peggy says. “When that job got stagnant, I switched to a commercial lines rater.” She stayed with that company until they moved out of the Dayton area, and then she was back to working in claims. When she saw an advertisement from IBS for a UAT tester, she couldn’t resist applying.

But UAT testing isn’t the only job Peggy has—she’s also a volunteer for the Italian Greyhound Rescue of Ohio. “I help by fostering Italian Greyhounds (IGs), calling references for potential adopters, assisting with fundraisers, and transporting IGs that need to hitch a ride to anywhere in Ohio,” she says. Peggy has even driven all the way to West Virginia to pick up a foster dog. Although she is passionate about rescuing any breed of dog, IGs hold a special place in her heart. She currently has one IG, Rosa, and hopes to adopt more once she has more time to devote to them.

One thing Peggy likes about IBS is the welcoming environment. “They create a friendly atmosphere with different events throughout the year,” she says. “And they always include their employees in contests.” She also is impressed with the benefits and insurance options IBS offers. She says, “I’ve talked with other contractors just to get an idea of what others offer, and I’m happy to report that I believe IBS is the best!”
