Sam Clements

IBS recruiter Samantha Clements comes to us from across the pond. Born in Chelmsford, Essex in the United Kingdom, she now calls Cincinnati, Ohio her home.

Sam attended college in the US, earning her Bachelor’s in Technical Theater with an Associate’s in Journalism. During her time at school, she was very involved in theater, “it wasn’t unusual to have a 16-20 hour day leading up to a show opening,” she said.

In her down time, Sam loves writing. In fact, she’s got two published novels available on Amazon entitled The Reluctant Demon and the sequel Emmy Goes to Hell. She also loves to cook, “I like to challenge myself and try to make things I’ve never made before.”

On top of writing and cooking, Sam also enjoys antiquing, “My mum and I rent space at a local antique mall here in Cincinnati,” she said. “We’re always scouring markets and yard sales for bargains and hidden treasures.”

“I’ve tried a lot of different careers, but I find that IT recruiting allows me to combine all of the skills I’ve picked up throughout my life,” Sam said. “IBS is one of the few companies I’ve worked for that believes in acknowledging good work and treating employees fairly. It’s nice to work for a company that goes out of its way to recognize when you put in the effort.”
