The Client

A provider of mortgage default processing services to law firms.

The Challenge

After a downturn in the foreclosure market, the client began to see a reduction in revenue and some significant turnover of both IT and non-IT staff. This called for a restructuring of their IT department. They were looking for a team that could ramp up quickly, and provide technical support and enhancements.

The Solution

The client engaged with IBS to form an offshore team that provides ongoing maintenance and support to their existing customer installations. This allowed the client to use their core IT staff for new product development and customer interfacing and allowed them to continue servicing their customers while reducing labor cost. IBS provided a team of five .NET Developers, a Crystal Reports Developer, a SharePoint Developer, and a SQL DBA. The team conducts a daily stand up meeting with the client’s internal IT staff via teleconference.

The Results

The team did a complete knowledge transfer within the first four weeks. After three months, the client's CIO commented that the IBS Global Solutions Team was providing better service than their previous domestic staff.
